- Fully LEGIT KitKat 4.4.2 ROM of MMX Unite 2

- CTR Recovery for KitKat of MMX Unite 2

- Rooted - Repartitioned/Swapped (2GB Internal)

- Not De-Odexed

- Removed Some MMX Unite 2 Bloat-wares

- Moded some Files and Edited some Lines in Build.prop

- No Tweaks

Bugs:

- OTG Bug - USB Flash Drive Mounting Error (MMX Unite 2 Official Bug) But you can use GamePad, Mouse, Keyboard, etc. except USB

Requirements:

1. Brain / Common-sense

2. Read / FOLLOW the Instruction Carefully, (DONT SKIP IT MAY BRICK YOUR DEVICE)

3. Sp Flash Tool - Download Here

4. KitKat ROM Package for My|Phone Rio Lite - Download Here

5. MediaTek Drivers - Download Here

Instruction JB to KitKat:

1. Make a Full Backup via MTKDroid Tools or in CTR Recovery(RECOMMENDED)

2. MUST Backup your NVRAM, nodl_protect_f.ext4.img, nodl_protect_s.ext4.img, keep them safe(IMPORTANT)

3. If you are Ready, Download the Sp flash tool, and Kitkat Package - extract it in any folder.

4. Download and Install your Phone Drivers. (RECOMMENDED/IMPORTANT)

5. Open Sp Flash Tool, Select the(MT6582_Android_scatter.txt)

6. Check all the needed Files, Then Locate your NVRAM, nodl_protect_f.ext4.img, nodl_protect_s.ext4.img that you BACKED UP

7. Make Sure that your files are all checked and Make Sure it is in the right Location.

8. And choose FORMAT at the Left Top Corner.

9. Then window will pop-up. choose AUTO FORMAT FLASH , and Select OK.

10. Shut Down your phone, or remove the battery, then CONNECT THE PHONE INTO YOUR PC.

11. Wait until the green CIRCLE Pop-upped.

12. After FORMATTING the SYSTEM, UNPLUG the Phone in your PC then in SP Flash Tool Select DOWNLOAD and PLUG it in your phone again.

13. It will flash the KitKat ROM, wait until it finish, wait for the Green Circle to pop-up.

14. After FLASHING, UNPLUG the Phone in your PC then boot your phone into recovery mode WIPE FACTORY RESET and then Reboot.

15. For booting might take more than 5 min.

• Be Sure that you have a CUSTOM RECOVERY (CWM/CARLIV RECOVERIES)

• After Downloading Place the STOCK ROM.zip into your SD Card

• Boot to your CUSTOM RECOVERY (CWM/CARLIV RECOVERIES) "How?, press volume + and volume - and Power at the same time, and press Volume + to select Recovery".

• Wipe Factory Reset

• Install the STOCK ROM.zip

• Reboot after Installation

IF YOU ARE READY:

•  Download and install the PC DRIVERS. 

If you are on Windows 8 or 8.1 you need to follow these:

• Extract the contents of the firmware on a folder of your choice, and the SP Flash Tool package on a folder of your choice.

• Open SP Flash Tool (DO NOT CONNECT YOUR PHONE YET). - Flash_tool.exe

• Click on "Scatter-loading" on the right side of the screen.

• Choose your scatter file from the firmware package (MT6582_Android_scatter.txt)

• Click "Download"

• Turn off your phone. To be safe, remove the battery and put it back but DO NOT TURN ON THE PHONE.

• Connect the phone to the PC. The progress bar should move and show some activity.

• When finished, the SP FLASH TOOL will tell you it's complete.

• You may disconnect the phone, REMOVE THE BATTERY and PUT IT BACK, then turn it on.

• If you encountered ENCRYPTION IS UNSUCCESSFUL, RESET IT.

• Reboot, Your Done.

• To UNROOT - (After Flashing the ROM, Just Open SuperSU and Tap FULL UNROOT, the Your DONE)
